Our Health Promotion Program is different from the general interest class. It is designed by our multidisciplinary team for different health needs. It aims to improve the skills and knowledge of health management and to adopt in daily life. To participate the program, please refer to the following:

  2. Make an appointment with our Care Coordinator for a Basic Health Risk Assessment to understand your health needs

Healthy Lifestyle Workshop

Interesting and dynamic action-based health related workshops that aims to support people to develop the knowledge, confidence and skills they need to make the optimal decisions and actions. They are designed to help people better manage their health in a sustainable manner and enjoy the outcomes in relating to the healthier lifestyle and behaviors.

Living well and healthy involves not only exercise or what we eat, it also includes the other dimensions. According to the definition of WHO, Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. They include the physical, psychological, social and spiritual dimensions which constitute a holistic and harmonic view of well-being.

Base on the above concepts, the Kwai Tsing District Health Centre will organize different interesting and practical workshops to help the participants to acquire the knowledge and skills to live healthy in daily living and to enjoy the fruits of well-being.

Physical Health:
To exercise regularly and to eat healthily through a balanced diet is important. Besides, we also need to pay attention to what our body is telling us, I.e. the symptoms and signs and to address them accordingly.

Psychological Health:
To acknowledge the importance of our emotional health, learn how to manage our stress and solve our problems, and to adopt a positive attitude towards living

Social Relationship:
To appreciate the family roles and relationship, learn how to communicate and develop a good supportive network

Spiritual Health:
To enjoy our living by paying attention to here and now, learn how to love oneself and others
