Healthy Lifestyle Workshop
Interesting and dynamic action-based health related workshops that aims to support people to develop the knowledge, confidence and skills they need to make the optimal decisions and actions. They are designed to help people better manage their health in a sustainable manner and enjoy the outcomes in relating to the healthier lifestyle and behaviors.
Living well and healthy involves not only exercise or what we eat, it also includes the other dimensions. According to the definition of WHO, Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. They include the physical, psychological, social and spiritual dimensions which constitute a holistic and harmonic view of well-being.
Base on the above concepts, the Kwai Tsing District Health Centre will organize different interesting and practical workshops to help the participants to acquire the knowledge and skills to live healthy in daily living and to enjoy the fruits of well-being.
To exercise regularly and to eat healthily through a balanced diet is important. Besides, we also need to pay attention to what our body is telling us, I.e. the symptoms and signs and to address them accordingly.
